Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ReceiptVault (the “Service”), operated by SMBEE PTE. LTD. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

ReceiptVault is provided by SMBEE PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore, at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. You can reach us at hello@smbee.me.

2. What ReceiptVault does

ReceiptVault lets you upload photos or files of receipts. We use automated tools, including third-party artificial-intelligence services, to read each receipt and extract structured information (such as the merchant, date, total, and line items) so you can search, organise, and track your spending. 3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into a binding agreement.

4. Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address; there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure, and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@smbee.me if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

5. Plans, billing, and renewals

  • Free — up to 25 receipts per month, at no charge.
  • Pro — up to 1,000 receipts per month plus additional features, for US$5 per month or US$48 per year.

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply. We may change our prices or plan limits; if we do, we will give reasonable notice and the change will take effect at your next renewal.

6. Cancellations and refunds

You can cancel at any time from your billing settings. When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, and it is not renewed after that. Payments are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time, except where required by law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that is unlawful;
  • use the Service to store or process anything other than your own receipts and related records;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written agreement.

8. Your content

You keep all rights to the receipts and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — including sending it to the third-party processors described in our Privacy Policy so it can be read and organised. We do not sell Your Content or use it for advertising.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access.

10. Accuracy of extracted data

Automated extraction is not perfect and may produce incorrect or incomplete results. ReceiptVault is a record-keeping tool, not accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it, and for keeping your own copies of any records you need.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
